The next genaration will be very fast in action for to steal, kill and destroy. They will never understand the word peace. In our time world getting too much different which we understand that this are not our hand. Over population, mass murders, food crisis, terrore, bomb blast, Islamic hate preahing, all will bring downto our world in this time.
The real civil war will be very soon at the countries in Europe. Islam taking over their every thing. See this is the example to be cool always as you like to live peacefully in this world. When we do this prayer alays at different times in a day we stay cool as your mind needed. If not then your mind will be hot and will do the things which you no like to do.

People will effects to be under anger, hate, fight, war, steal, kill, murder, and rape all will be daily activities for the remaing population. Education system which are the basic steps for good genaration, they will change the activites.
The days of TERROR & HATE are at the door steps. All over the world under fire of evils. Europe still at the very door of huge terror and hate cult. The duration of the material universe is limited. It is manifested in cycles of KALPAS. A Kalpa is a day of Brahmà and one of Brahmà consists of a thousand cycles of four YUGAS or ages, SATYA, TRETA, DRAPARA AND KALI. The cycle of Satya is characterized by virtue, wisdom and religion, there being practically no ignorance and vice, and the YUGA lasts 1,728,000 years. In the Treatàyuga vice is introduced and this yuga lasts 1,296,000 years. In the Dvàparayuga there is an even greater decline in virtue and religion, vice increasing, and this yuga lasts 864,000 years. And finally in Kaliyuga (the yuga we have now been experiencing over the past 5,000 years) there is an abundance of strife, ignorance, irreligion and vice, true virtue being practically nonexistent and this yuga lasts 432,000 years. In Kaliyuga vice increases to such a point that at the termination of the yuga the SUPREME LORD Himself appears as the KALKI AVATÀRA (in the holy bible this said that the Lord Jesus Christ will come; the person is the same) vanquishes the demons, saves His people and commences another Satyayuga. Then the process is not rolling again. These four yugas rotating a thousand times , comprise one day of Brahmà and the same number comprise one night. Brahmà lives one hundred of such "years" and then dies. These "hundred years" by earth calculations total to 311 trillion and 40 billion earth years. By these calculations the life of Brahmà seems fantastic and interminable, but from the viewpoint of eternity ti is as brief as a lightning flash. In the causal ocean there are innumerable Brahmàs rising and disappering like bubbles in the Atlantic. Brahmà and his creation are all part of the material universe and therefore they are in costant flux.

In the material universe not even Brahmà is free from the process of birth, old age, disease and death. Brahmà however, is directly engaged in the service of Supreme Lord in the management of this universe - therefore he at once attains liberation. Elevated sannyàsis are promoted to Brahmà's particular planet, Brahmaloka, which is the highest planet in the material universe and which survives all the heavenly planets in the upper statra of the planetary system but in due course Brahmà and all the inhabitants of Brahmàloka are subject to death according to the law of material nature. Therefore, this DARU MURTI apper in this kali yuga at purusathama khatra for the SALVATION of the people in this AGE. This image will be 10.000 years of Kaliyuga. In this we have pass 5000 years, so, after 5000 years this image will depart from this age and will be TOTAL DARKNESS.

Vedic conception of the Supreme Being

The words are eminiscent of the famous proclamationof Lord Krishna in Srimad Bhgavad Gita- ye yatha mam prapadyante etc (Adhyaya IV-2). It will be relevant to note that Lord Jaganatha is also known as Purusathama. As explained in Srimad Bhagavad Gita (adhyaya XV-17,18) by the Lord Himself, He is called Purusathama (the Spreme purusha) as He transcend Kshara (the perishable) as well as Akshara (the imperishable), and this Purusathama is clled as PAAMÀTMÀ (Supreme Self) and Avayah Isvarah (the indestructible Lord) and He prvades and sustains the three worlds. Some scholars also point out that the rather unusual form of Lord Jagannatha (viz, that He is without hands, legs, ears etc) is a manifestation of the Vedic Cnception of the Supreme being (purusam mahantam) as revealed in Shvertasvatara Upanisha (apànipàdo javanogrihità etc - Adhyaya III - 19).

In the twelfth century AD, shri R amanujacharya (the founder of Shri Samprdaya and Vishistavaita school) visited Puri ans invoked Lord Jagannatha as Shri Krishna, Lord Balabhadra as Siva, Devi Subhadra as Ekanamsa Durga and Chakra Sudarshana as Nrisimha, as per the pancharatra tradition. According to the Pancha-devata upasana, on the other hand, Lord Jagannatha himselfassumes the five distnct forms, namely that of (1)Narayana when on the Ratnasinghasana, (2) Rudra during Navakalevara, (3) Gajanana during Snanaytra, (4) Surya Narayanana during Ratha-yatra and (5) Durga during Sayana Yatra. The Chaturdha-Vigrahas, as mentioned in the Skanda Purana also symboliza the four parts of the Pranava (Omkara) and represent the four Vedas; Lord Balabhadra symbolizing Rigveda, Devi Subhadra Yajurveda, Lord Jagannatha Samaveda and Chakra Sudarshana Atharva Veda.

According to Saiva tradition, Lord Jagannatha is worshipped as siva-Bhairava-Ekapada, Lord Balabhadra as Ananta Naga or Sesha Naga and Devi Subhadra as Shakti. We can find elements of Shakta and Tantra worship in the tradition of Lord Jagannatha wherein Lord Jagannatha is identified with Mahabhairava, Lord Balabhadra with Rudra and Devi Subhadra with Durga. In this daily worship, Devi Subhadra is invoked with Bhuvanesvari mantra. The panchamakàra pujà, which is an integral part of tantraupasana is performed daily in the sancture sanctorum of the temple of Puri, Orissa, India though in a sattvika from. the shrine of Goddess Vimala located within the inner compound of Shri Jgannatha temple is regared as one of the most sacred tanta-shakti peethas of India, and during sixteen dayes od sharadiya durga puja in the month of October, full fledged tantra upasana is performed in this peetha. Devi Vimala is regareded as bhairavi and Lord Jagannatha as Bhairava in tantrika texts. (Vimala Bhairavi yatra jagannathahastu Bhairava) ans Lord Jagannatha is himself referred to as dakshinakali.

The huge spiritual expanstion have in this Vigraha, which genaral people cannot understand totally. The only important part is that any body who like to worship Him in any personal understanding He will accept that. Because in this kaliyuga He open Himself for the people . In certain scriptures, such as the Brahma Purana, Lord Jagannatha has been identified with Shri Krishna. The Sankaravijayilàsa of Chidvilasa Muni (ninth c. AD) and the Mahabharata of Oriya Adikavi Sarala Das (fifteenth c .AD) state that the Daru -Vriksha was verily the mortal remains of Shri Krishna after His Dwapara Leela came to an end. Further, the daily worship in Shri Jagannatha Temple is based on the Gapalarchana-vidhi and Lord Jagannatha is invoked as Shri Krishna with the ashtadasa Gopala mantra. Even the annual festivals of the temple of Puri Orissa India are based mostly on the Leelas of Lord Krishna and Lord Balarama as narrated in Srimad Bhagavata Mahapurana. The Utsava-vigraha of Lord Jagannatha is Madana-Mohana, a beautiful golden image of Lord Krishna. Seen in the above light. Lord Jagannatha is Shri Krishna who is worshipped on the Ratnasinghasana along with his elder brother Shri Balarama (Balabhadra), sister Devi Subhadra and His Chakra Sudarsahna. Similarly, during festivals connected with Lord Rama, such as Shri ramanavami, Lord Jagannatha is adorned ans worshipped as Lord Rama, Balabhadra as Shri Lakshmana and Subhadra as devi Sita.
In Adhyaya XXVIII of "purusottama-kshetra mahatmya" it is stated that after the holy consecration and installation of Chaturdha-Vigrahas in the temple built by King Indradyumna the Vigrahas for some time assumed the form of Lord Nrisimha, further, in all rituals during each Navakalevara including the Pràña-pratisthà, the Lord is invoked with the thirty-two syllabic "mantraraja Nrisimha mantra".

The Anasara and Navakalevara rituals of the Lord are indeed His Leelas manifesting cerain fundamental spiritual truths about human existence. The very form of the Chaturdha - Vigrahas consisting of seven distnet sheaths or coverings (saptavarana) that is from the innermost wooden form to the cloth covering on the exterrio, correspond to the sapta-dhatus (that is bone, flesh, blood, skin,etc) of the human body, as indicated in the Madala panji (temple chronicle). The Anasara ritual every year, during which the outer coverings of the vigrahas are changed, reminds us of the changes constantly taking place in the human body. On the other hand, the complete change of the "saptavarana" bodies of the Vigrahas and tranfer of the Brahma-vastu during Navakalevare symbolize the death of the human body and transmigration of the immortal Atma (soul) from the old body to the new, just as the atma being subtler than the subtlest, cannot be perceived by the senses and the mind, so also the Brahma vastu remains unknown even to the sevaka who transfers the Brahma-vastu from the old Vigraha to the new.

This the hidden side of teh Lord. No body can understand the personally by the five senses of human body. Our senses cannot understand , if we try to undersand this will be very heavy for us to carry (need to be more than man). Perhaps, hpwever the most significant aspect of the tradition of Lord Jagannatha is its all-encompassing universality. This becomes evident when we see the many ways in which the Lord is invoked. According to "purusathama-kshetra mahaymya" of Skanda purana, the supreme Lord as mentioned, was originally worshipped as Neelamadhava or Vishnu along with Mahalaskshmi. Ananta sesha and Sudarshna. The same text mentions further that a hair fallen from the body of Vishnu had taken the shape of the "celestial tree" - daruvriksha (tad anga skhalitam roma taru tvam upapadyate adhyaya XVIII-13) out of which the chaturdha vigrahas were made and that the one Vishnu had assumed the four fold form this viewpoint, Lord Jagannata is Vishnu, Lod Balabhadra is Sesha Ananta, Devi Subhadra is Mahalaxmi and Sudarshana is Sudarshana Chakra.

Another distinctive feature of Lord Jaganatha tradition is NAVAKALEVARA which involves elaborate rites and rituals spread over nearly three and half months during which period the CHATURDHA-VIGRAHA-MURTIS undergo a complete renewal. this extraordinary event takes place whenever there is an extra month (mala.masa in the month of Asadha (called Purusottama masa) which can occur in eight years, eleven years or nineteen years depending upon astroligical configurations. According to prescribed rituals the old images are buried in a specific location within the Jaganntha temple premises "purusathama kherta" Named Koilivaikuntha and identical new images are made, consecrated and installed on the sacred altar (Ratnasinghasana). It is, however, significant to note here that while the wooden forms, along with all the outer coverings are buried, the Holy Divine Object (Brahmavastu) placed in the heart cavity of each Image is removed from the old Image and installed in the new image and this secret ritual is performed by a Daita sevaka with his eyes blind-folded and hands padded so that he does not perceive the Brahma-vastu.

This Brahma - vastu is at purusathama kherta , sree jagannatha puri. This place never lost even at the time of Mahapralays ( destruction total ) . Lord Jagannatha remain there from when history not existed. At the time of consecration of the Chaturdha vigrahas, Lord Brahma proclaimed that the wooden images are ·Parama brahmakiti (the form of the supreme Being) and He instructed King Indradyunma in the Following manner. " THINKING IT IS A WOODEN IMAGE, O PREEMINENT KING. LET THERE NOT BE THE IDEA IN YOU THAT THIS IS A MERE IMAGE - This is verity the form of supreme brahman. as parama brahman (the supreme Lord) takes away all sorrows and confers eternal bless. he is known as daru. accrding to the four vedas therefore the lord is manifest in the form of daru (sacred wood). he is the creator of the entire universe-he has also creatd himself" - Adhyaya XXVIII-39-41) from date less past culture and tradition remain in this area for ever. Renowned Russian painter professor Nicholas Roerich in his book himalaya (1929) wrote extensively on Jesus visit to India on the basis of evidence gathered between 1924 - 1928. More recently scholar elizabeth Claire Propher in her book The lost years of Jesus (1984) and Scholar Holger Kersten in his book Jesus lived in India (1986) after evaluation available evidence on the subject came to the comclusion that the above accounts of Jesus' visit to India are true and Authetic.

If the above findings regarding Jesus' visit to India and puri are accepted as authentic and correct then the antiquity of the tradition of Lord Jagannatha will date back into the pre-christian era (even if Puranic literature is not taken into account) as these findings clearly establish thatJagannatha Puri was already an established and well - known centre of religious pilgrimage and Vedic learning by the time of Christ. However as to the actual time of commencement of the tradition, if we are to exclude the puranic cañculations then due to non-avilability of historical evidence we have to agree with the historians that the origin of the tradition is "LOST IN ANTIQUITY".

Lord Jesus in His fourteenth year young Issa.....came this side of Sindh ..... and went to Djagguerant in the country of Orissa, where repose the mortal remains of Vyassa-krishna and where the white priests of Brahma welcomed Him joyfull... they taught Him to read and to understand the Vedas to cure physical ills by means of prayers to teach and to expound the sacred scriptures, to drive out evil desires from man and make him again in the likeness of God. In 1922 swami Abhedananda (the vice - president of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission) having read notovich's book travelled to Hemis Monastery to verify Notovich's account. At Hemis, swamiji interrogated the Lamas physically examined the manuscripts and in a Bengali book entitled "Kashmir-O-Tibbate (1929) and which fully confirmed the averments made by Notovich about Jesus' visi to India. According to modern historians the antiquity of the tradition of Lord Jagannatha (based on historical evidence other than puranic literature) cannot be pushed back betond the eighth century AD. At Kaliyuga charity and Name Sankritana are only religion existed, whatever way you offer gift or charity this is benifits to you. From the age of old (satya yuga) to now (in kaliyuga) still Lord Jagannatha allowing people to offer Puja to Him. and the when all this religion puja activities was started still nobody cannot explain fully. The apart from the puranic literature mentioned above other historical evidence regarding worship of Lord Jagannatha in Puri is found (according to historians) only from the eighth century AD onwards. The chronicle of Shri Jaganatha Temple (Mandala Panji) mentions that the Lords were taken to Sonepur incentral Orissa due to the invasion of one Raktabahu and that they were re-installed in puri around the tenth century by Somavamsi king Yajati Keshari who constructed a new temple for the Lord in Puri. Worship of the Lord in puri by the eighth century AD is moreover established beyond doubt by several other literary works including Sankaravijaya - vilasa of Chivilasa Muni (ninth c. AD. ) Anargharaghava natakam of Murari Mishra (ninth c.AD) and Prabodha chandrodaya natakam of krishna Murari (elevenh c AD). Epigraphic evidence, such as, Maihar sarada Devi Temple inscription in Satna, Madhya pradesh (tenth c.AD) and Kalindi Grant of Eastern Chalukya King Rajaraja I (eleventh c.AD) also point in the same direction. With the construction of the present Shri Jagannatha Temple in the eginning of the twelfth century AD by Ganga King Chodaganga Deb (on the very site of the earlier temple), we find plenty of reference relating t the worship of the earlier temple), we find plenty of references relating to the worship of Lord Jagannatha in Puri.

All this evidence we understand that the way of SPIRITUAL LAW was existed with this puja and prayer activities from age old past. That was the true wisdom to know Him but by the effect of the Yuga that has been lost from the other parts of the world. but by Lord again reveal to Arjuna this way of prayer or puja alone to Him and related to all living bodies.

In recent times, there hasbeen considerable debate concerning the antiquity of this account in the Skande purana. The orthodox viewpoint that the Skanda purana including ·purusottama kshetra mahatmya· was complied by Mahashi Vedavyasa is not accepted by many modern historians. Pargiter in his Ancient Indian Historial Traditions dates puranic literature to the fifth centrury BC. There are many extra information existed which still no have any historical records, but still in the flock story of the poeple and local ithihasha. However, modern scholars on the subject have variously dated the composition of ·purusottama kshetra mahatmy· from as early as the seventh century AD to as late as the seventeenth century AD. Without entering into this controversy, it may however uffice to state here that irrespective of the date when the puranic account may have been actually written the episode quite definitely is an ancient one which assumed legendary proportions, having come down by word of mouth from genaration since time immemorial even generation to generation dince TIME IMMEMORIAL even before being written down in the puranaa.

There are many different aspects have which we no need to always depend on puranas, there are many things without in writing existed among the culture and tradition of Lord Jagannatha from thousands of years which no have any written documents. The faith and the people keep them self under Lord Purusottama or Neelamadova. Outside world cannot understand this behaviour. who can understand the mind of the Lord? Who can Instruct Him? All this have great expample in this deity.

Several other puranas, particularly Brahma purana, padma puranas and Agni puranas, also contain narrations about the manifestation of Lord Jagannatha in purusotama kshetra in more or less the same manner as Skanda purana. Various literary works in Orissa in Post fourteenth century, such as, Mahabharata of Sarala das, Deule tola of Nilambar das, deula tola of Sisukrushna das and Niladrimahodya of Loknath panda by and large reitrate the lengend contained in the Skanda Purana. This are time the people written down this culture of this deity but long before when not even writing copy not yet existed people keep respect and care this chaturdha vigraha as their part of life. Never any single day Lord Purusottama remain with out any homage from the people of Orissa. In history records that at the time of meddle age their are lots of attacks happened by outsiders but how this possible Lord remain still the same. The attackers all are gone according of their fate but Lord remain the same and the people of this land keep Him suprem then all. Time cannot be scale for make duration of the time. because he is the creator of the Time even. Satya yuga to Kali yuga still Lord Neelmadhova existed in all the despansation of Yugas. Ramayana, Mahabharatha, and even Veda keep the identity of the Purusottama keshtra with total respect. Who we are to keep maintain the time scale upon Him. Poeple of Puri still remain under the culture of Vedas, legends, folklore, traditional beliefs, esoteric wisdom, hymns and prayers expressing simple faith, diverse type of worship, devotion and knowledge. All remain immemorial, there came on the way some kings who build the intruduced some extra tradition but the core faith remain same untill now.

King Indradyumna then constructed a magnificent temple for the Lord 1000 cubits hat is 1500 feet high and at Indradyumn's behest, Lord Brahma came from Brahmaloka and consecrated the Chaturdha - Vigrahas as well as the temple. Having accomplished his cherished his chrished mission, King ascended to Brahmaloka after entrusting the charge of the temple and worship of the Lord to king Gala who was then the ruler of Utkal (Orissa,India).

This then is in brief the narration in the Skanda Purana regarding the manifestation of Lord Jagannatha as Chaturdha - Vigraha daru murtis i Purusittama keshtra Puri, Orissa. But the question remails as to when this auspicious event took place. According to Skanda Puran (Adhyayas XXIII -55-58 and XXIX -16) the manifestation of the celestial tree and carving of the Chaturdha Vigraha wooden images occurred in the Satya Yuga of the Second Chatur - Yuga of Swayambhuva Manu (the first Manu) in the present Kalpa (Svetvaraha Kalpa). We are now in the Kali Yuga of the twenty - eighth Chatur - Yuga of Vaivasuvata Manu (the seventh Manu). Balgandhar Tilak dates Rigveda to around 6000 BC while some other scholars are of the view that the scripture was composed much earlier.

(according to Jyotish Shastra, Srimad Bhagavata and other Puranas the Vedic time period calculation is KALI YUGA = 4,32,000 HUMAN YEARS OR 1200 DIVYA VARSHAS THAT IS 360 HUMAN YEARS = ONE DIVYA VARSHA OR CELESTIAL YEAR DWAPAR YUGA =8,64,000 HUMAN YEARS OR 24000 DIVYA VARSHAS. )

Treat yuga = 12,96,000 human years or 3600 divya varshas.

Satya yuga = 17,28,000 human years or 4800 divya varshas.

One chaturyuga = 43,20,000 human years or 12,000 divya varshas.

71 Chatur yuga = 30,67,20,000 human years = one Manvantara.

14 Manavantara = 429,40,80,000 human years = one Kalpa.

1 Kalpa = one day of Brahma (which is followed by one night of Brahma when there is complete dissolution)

100 days of Brahma = Life Time of one Brahma.

The 14 manus ruling each Manavantara in a Kalpa appear in the followong order.

1. Swayambhuva 2. Swarochisha 3.Uttama 4.Tamasa 5.Raivata 6.Chakshusha 7.Vaivasvata 8.Savarni 9.Daksha Savarni 10.Brahma Savarni 11.Dharma Savarni 12.Rudra Savami 13.Roucha Savami and 14. Indra Savarni.)

Thus a period of more than six Manvantaras and twenty seven Chatur yugas has elapsed since the first manifestation of the Chaturdha Vigrahas. Having regards to Vedic time period calculation as stated in Jyotish shastra and Srimad Bhagavat and other puranas, wherein one Chatur yuga is equal to 43,20,000 human years and one Manvantara is equal to 30,67,20,000 human years (or seventy one charur yugas) the dating of the first manifestation of the Chaturdha Vigrahas (Lord Jaganatha )will go back to figure of 2588 crore years or more.

Situated amidst dense forest in Utkal the presence of the Lord was unknown to the world except for a few fortunate Savara tribals living in the tribal village nearby who kept the Lord's presence a closely guarded scret. We must understand that those Savara tribels people and their village after came to contet as the human history under flock katha or itihas. there are many history existed with is deity dring different times and different people, all those enter to upliftment of the Lord purusottama. In this itihas we know that when Vidtapati the emissary of king Indradyumna of Malwa (central India) viited Purusottama kshetra and having won the trust and friendship f savara chief Visvavasu obtained Darshana of Lord Neelamadhava that the presence of the Lord came to be known t the world otside. King Indradyumna upon hearing the good news from vidyapati and ardently seeking the Lord's darshana, immediately set forth from his capital Avanti (morden Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh) towards Purusottama kshera. but before Indradyumna could reach his destination a great sand strom completely covered the abode of the Lord and Lord Neelamadhava was seen no more. Utterly dejected and grief stricken at being deprived of the Lord's darshana, Indradyuma decided tofast unto death. Devarshi Narada (who had accompanied Indradumna fom Avanti) however cosoled Indradyumna and advised him to perform one thousand Ashvamedha Yajñas for reappearance of the Lord in wooden form as this had been predicted by none other than Lord Brahma.

In this most important subject is that to hide from the eyes of the men by the sand strom .The original Image of the Neelamadhava or Lord Purusottama has been hideout under the sand. nobody cannot explain this image with all details. This is the foudation quality of the Lord. He never allow himself to be very easy to behold. Only he can give darshana to whom he gives gifts. Not for all people. In all other holy book also God never can see open eyes by any body. He made in a posion where all people only can think but cannot darsana His quality. If He give all people darsana then the hidden quality which He explain in Bhagavat Gita that Arjuna cannot see His Birat Rupa in naked eyes. To see Him needs extra quality as the same way today also the quality of hide still existed and people need to acts for it. Indradunma cannot behold the image of the Neelamadhava as first time. He need to wait and this was the testimony for all people.

In the same Lord Jesus Christ said that nobody can see the Father. and after when He come to the point of His father by death He said that you will try to see me but you cannot see me. Meaning He will be with the father to be One, this is the same way untill believer comes under this point He cannot allow to behold his glory.

Neelmadhava, the image of the Lord was hide from the eyes even from the Savara tribal people . The quality always is the same. To see Him need true faith and acts. Just in the same way Lord alway offer His grace. Mahaprabhu Chaitanya alway offer the grea eagerness to be with Him. and for that He paid the prise for example to all that without this nobody able see Him. His dateless past always remain a legacy with His all divine qualities. So, the King need to wait and performed the Ashvameddha Yajña as advised by sga Narada and upon its conclusion a Celestial Tree was seen floating on the sea. The king then heard a Divine voice and in obedience to its command permitted an old carpenter to carve the image of the Lord from out of the Celestial tree. The Purana here states that the carpenter was none other than the Lord Himself. The divine carpebter wored in a closed chamber (at the site of the present sri Gundicicha temple). hen the door of the chamber was opended on the fifteenth day, the old carpenter was not seen and saga Narada, king Indradyumna and the assembled gathering obtained their first darshana of the Lord in the Chaturdha - vigraha wooden forms ith specific layers of coverings and the Lords thereafter finally assumed the forms in which they are seen today.

Some scholars have opined that a verse in the Rig Veda (which is the earlist Vesdic scripture dating beyond three thousand C refers to Lord Jagannatha in Purusottama kshetra. The vese "...ado yad daru plavate sindhoh pare apurusom" X -155 -3) has been interpreted by Sayanacharya (1315 - 1387 AD), one of the most well known commentators of Rig Veda to refer to ·daumayam purusottamakhyam devatasariram· (Purusottama) floating on the sea. This interpretation has been accepted by Raghunandana Bhattacharya (16 century Dharmashastra scholar of Bengal) who in his Puruottama kshetra tattavam while endorsing the view of sayanacharya has stated that a simailar verse in the Paippalada Sakha of Atharava Veda (VI _ 8/7).

The Origin of Lord Jagannatha never possible to understand fully. Long history still under silence for the world. Veda and Puranas only give some little information about purusottama kshetra. some other scholars are of the view that the Mahabharatha contains references to the worship of Lord Jagannatha in Purusottama kshetra. The section deaing with ·Tirtha yatra in the Vana Parva of the Mahabharata (III -114, 17 to 24) mentions that the Pandavas during their visit to Kalinga orissa took holy bath in the sea and climbed a sacred Vedi to seek blessings. This vedi has been identified by scholars with the temple of Lord Jagannatha in Puri. The important point is that during Mahabharata time Lord Krishna still with is 8th incarnation and alive with them. In this regards we can undersand that in Bhagavat-Gita Lord Krishna said to Arjuna that he is from the old past (date less past) but he now with the body and people understand Him that he is a normal regular person. He manifested his transformation not only to Arjuna but to Marani Drapadhi at Kuru palace when he was humaliated by Dushasan. Lord Krishan proted her by offering sari as they like to take it off from her body. and also on the other places we see that when Durjadhan, Sakuni, and Dusashan send Maha Rishi Durbasa to the hut of Pandabha for foor. and that time Lord Krishna also arrive suddenly arrived and helped Pandabhas with Maharani Drapadhi to satisfy food offering to him which was one rice grain. By this Maharishi Durbhasa also satisfyed and went away without see them. so, the transformation of His we can see from the old and from the dateless past. in this we understand that still we was existed at purusottama Kshetra althou He was with the active Mahabharata.

The most important note is that still pandhaba did not know Him fully untill He reveal to Arjuna. In the same way He was existed at Purusottama kshtera from the date less past. Many scholars today are however of the opinion that the aforesaid references in the Rig Veda and the Mahabharata cannot conclusively be held to refer to Lord Jagannatha n Purusottama kshetra. The earlist literary references to Lord jagannatha according to them is found in the Puanas. The most elaborate account of the origin of the tradition of the Lord Jagannatha is found in over three thousand slokes in the section entitled "purusottama kshtera " of Skanda purana. Briefly stated the Purana narrated that the Supreme Lord was Originally worshiped as "Neelamàdhava" on top of Nilachala Hill in purusottama kshtera that is at the very location where the present temple stands. Puranas was after Vedas and there are lots of informations which provide us much more intersting to know Lord jagannatha and Neelmadhava, which still people call Him by this name. we need to be satisfy that the name of the Lord which was dateless past still continue the same name and same manifestaion. The image of Lord Neelamadhava standing under the Kalpa banyan tree was made of nilamani (sapphire gem stone) and the Lord was holding sankha, chakra, gada and padma in His four hands. Devi Mahalaxmi was to the left of the Lord with Lord Sesha (Ananta) behind and Shri Garuda and Shri Sudarshana Chakra (having assumed human form) in the front. Still all have been worshiping everyday by millions of people in that are and all over the world. How this possible to understand long dateless past to our time ? for this Lord said in Bhagavat Gita that out of million one people will understand Him in this lifetime. otherwish, Atma search and search Capla and after Calpa and after in th end will know that all and all is HIS.

World history we see there are many kings and their kingdom was stand and fall and we can track the time but after six thousands years we cannot fully understand the true history beyond this years, we accept human understanding but we need to understand Purusottama Kshtera with the Spirit Atma and then we will be satisfy about His dateless name still continue in this earth.

The Tradition of Lord Jagannatha

Shri Purusottama Kshetra Puri Orissa India the holy abode of Shri Purusottama Jagannatha is one of the four major tirtha of India. Shanda Purana the most voluminous of the eighteen Maha Puranas mentions the santity and glory of this most anciet and sacred Kshetra . ("altough Lord Jagannatha is all pervading and is the source of all and there are also other holy places which destroy all sins yet this holy place is superior as it has become the body of this Suprem Being. He Himself is present there assuming a form and has indeed made that place known by His own name." Adhyaya I - 8/9 )The place still was hidden from outer world and remain in a state culture tradition from unknown past. The tradition of JAGANNATHA CULTURE which taken every foundation of the people in genaral. Originating in Puri in the dim distant past, few centuries to different parts of Orissa and India. Ove the last several decades there has been substantial study research and publications concerning various aspects of the tradition of Lord Jagannatha but several ·grey· areas nevertheless remain.
